We offer top quality slushy machines along with real fruit frozen cocktails and slushy flavour mixes. When you hire a slushy machine with Luscious Slushi, we take care of everything including stellar delivery and collection service. We set up the machine at your specified venue and also clean the machine after collecting it. Our staff will give you thorough instructions on how to use the machine and will not leave until you’re comfortable using it!

How to Make a Booking

Fill in the information requested on our booking form. Upon confirmation of your slushy machine hire via email (please make sure you add bookings@slushy.co.nz to your contact list), a $100 or $150 refundable bond is required to secure that date. The bond is refunded within a couple of days following pick up, less any damages or incidentals. A cancellation fee in the amount of the bond also applies if you terminate your booking within five days of the party hire date.

Slushy Machine Operation

Our slushy machines are very reliable and easy to operate. Our team will set it up for you, add the slushy flavour mix, plug it into a standard 240V power outlet and turn it on. Allow approximately 90 minutes for the mix to freeze. If it’s really warm and humid outside, it may take slightly longer! Oh yes, and let’s not forget … please keep the machine free from rain or external water sources. Since it’s electrical, we want to keep you safe!

Each barrel holds 10L of standard slushy mix, or 5.0L of premium fruit slushy mix. If you want to add alcohol to your slushy flavour mixes, we recommend approx 1.4L alcohol per 10L of standard slushy mix; or 700ml alcohol per 5.0L of premium fruit slushy mix. Our 10L standard slushy mix provides approximately 50 x 200ml glasses, while our 5.0L premium real fruit slushy mix provides approximately 25 x 200ml glasses. We also always leave additional slushy flavour mixes with you. A fee of $40 each (per 10L) or $25 each (per 5.0L) will only be charged if used and will be deducted from the bond.
